Jr. Spartans do well at Parkview

The Jr. Spartans had 5 out of 8 kids place in the top 4 at the Parkview Thanksgiving Tournament. Keldon took gold, Jimmy and Kenley both won 2nd or silver and Tyler and Kayne both took 4th place. The Spartans next open tournament will be the goldmine classic in Dahlonega.

Two Spartans Place at State Tournament

Congratulations to Tanner Yates and Logan Herford. Tanner finishes his high school career on the podium for the second time. Yates’ state placement caps a great career for the Spartans and he looks to continue wrestling at the next level. Also standing on the state podium this year was Logan Herford. After missing the podium last year Herford capped at great season with a third place finish. Herford will look to keep this year momentum and carry it into his senior year.
